Aerith leads Cloud to a secluded area of the markets and from out of her dress draws a materia, glowing a blue-white.

"It's really rare," she says a little proudly, holding it up for him to see. "It allows two people to swap bodies. If we use this, we can get you a body that will get you inside."

"But I'll be a girl," Cloud said reluctantly.

"Well of course. That's the point," she replied. "You do want to save her, don't you?"

"Of course. Okay, who can I swap with?"
