You try to avoid her oncoming feet by jumping left. You dive to the side, rolling around, but when you look up, you see your cousin's right foot dropping down upon you. Beyond it was her face, with her brown eyes on you. She seemed to have seen you, but was too far in stride to stop before she stepped on you. Unfortunately, her white-socked foot landed down on top of you and almost instantly caused you to explode across the sole of her foot. She walked right over you, but stopped and looked back at the end of the hallway. She gulped.
"Did I really just see my cousin there on the floor?" she asked herself. She was too afraid to look at the bottom of her foot. "No, it couldn't have been... But it looked so much like..."
She turned away without discovering for sure, but the thought of your frightened expression before she had accidentally stepped on you never left her dreams. She later learned that you turned up missing, never to return, but she kept the secret to herself. She rationed with her own guilt. If it was an accident, then it didn't matter, right? Plus, I didn't really step on him... That was just a hallucination... Of course. Who accidentally steps on their shrunken cousin?
