Marie rubbed her belly as she reached for another slice of pizza. She had been eating a lot since she quite sports. Recently, however, her appetite had been amplified due to her pregnancy.
Three months ago, she had discovered she had gotten pregnant. She knew that party would come back to haunt her, but most of her friends had pressured her into it. She had been terrified, but wanted to keep the baby (or babies, as she soon found out she was having twins). After two months of gaining weight to hide her growing baby bump, Marie built up the courage to tell her mother, who was nothing but supportive. In fact, her mother had revealed that she had gotten pregnant as well from artificial insemination. Of course, her mother had pointed out that she needed to eat more for her children to grow healthy and strong.
So she had been eating lots of food. Her mother was very good at cooking. Sometimes they would order food, like the pizza Marie was currently eating. Her mother had gone to the hospital to get an ultrasound, hoping to find out the gender of her baby. Marie had told that she wanted to learn the genders of her twins another day. So she had the house to herself at the moment.
