Chris-Alice could be a bit impatient at times. She decided to go and see if she could find her friend. Chris-Alice wandered down a hallway. She was a bit nervous about being in the house, but it was Creepie's home. There couldn't be anything dangerous, right? Creepie! Chris-Alice called. Hmm, now where could she be?
The girl wandered into what looked like a kitchen. She noticed a bowl sitting on a table. It was filled with an odd substance. The substance seemed like jelly, or jam, but was a greenish-blue color. What's this? Chris-Alice wondered. She stuck a finger into the stuff and brought it to her mouth for a taste. Normally, Chris-Alice would never have considered doing such a thing, but she hadn't had lunch yet and was getting a bit peckish.
Besides, it was just one taste. She rationalized. I'm sure no one would mind. The stuff was sweet, but not like jam or jelly. It tasted almost like honey. Just then, the girl heard a voice, Chris-Alice? Creepie walked in. What are you doing here? She said. Chris-Alice giggled, absentminded to herself. Oh, come on, silly. She said. You know we have a study sleepover today.
I know that. Creepie replied. I meant why are you back here? I asked you to wait in the living room. Oh, I'm sorry. Chris-Alice said. I was just trying to find you. She giggled to herself again. Creepie arched an eyebrow, looking at the girl. Are...you feeling alright? She asked. I do seem to be a bit more giggly than usual today. Chris-Alice replied. But, don't worry, I'm fine.
Oh-kay. Creepie said. I'll just get some snacks for us and we can go straight to my room..l mean we can go up to my room and study. Okie-dokey. Chris-Alice replied. She sat down at the table and stared off into space. She seemed very odd today, but Creepie shrugged it off and started rummaging through the fridge.
O.k. let's see. Creepie said. This should be enough to tide us over for a while, at least until... Creepie gasped as she turned around and nearly dropped the food she was holding. Chris-Alice was still sitting at the table, but something was definitely off about her. She...
