The Goblin Slums

    by: Bugwits Author IconMail Icon
The Goblin Slums! That would be perfect, no one would think to look there. The Bilgewater Goblins showed up and joined the Horde while Garrosh had been Warchief. While most had either been conscripted into the Horde engineering Corps., others were put to work in Azshara and established Bilgewater Harbor as their home territory under the watchful eye of Trade Prince Gallywix.

Literally. The guy had carved his face into a mountain.

Everyone else more or less got shoved into the slums, and that's where you're headed to regroup and try and come up with a plan to fix this absolutely terrible situation.

You had ended up relatively close to the slums. Unfortunately, at your size, everything is relative, so you make sure to stay close to the wall instead of on the path, so as to avoid being trod over by the grunts patrolling the area, to say nothing of the insects and other vermin that are now much bigger than your own shoe can handle.

But eventually, you make it, as safe and sound as you can be. Now you need to find a spot in here to take cover. The Goblin Slums are small - Garrosh never really cared much for them, and most everyone else steers clear of them. And so your options are limited. The slums are set in three parts, colloquially called "Districts."

The Commercial District is immediately to your left. It's where Horde adventurers would find the closest thing to an inn, a bar, and several shopkeepers have set up shanties to hawk their wares. It's a high-traffic area, but it's the easiest place to get some food and shelter.

The Financial District is immediately to your right. The auction house and bank are here, and this is where Boss Mida has set up shop, although she doesn't seem to be in right now. This is another high traffic area, as Goblins parted with their money and worldly possessions don't tend to be parted for too long. Imagine if you managed to grow back and you got a gold coin to grow with you! You could buy Azeroth with that much!

The Industrial District is at the back. The slums are filthy and grimy and the Industrial District is the worst of it. Oil from the derricks have spilled into the pond and washes up on the shore. This is where the miners, blacksmiths and, ironically, the shamans have set up. This is the lowest traffic area, but its further out than the other two districts and the way would be treacherous.

Where will you go?

You have the following choices:

1. The Commercial District

2. The Financial District

3. The Industrial District
