Natalie was at the front door to the house, just about to leave, when something in her mind told her she shouldn't leave such a potentially valuable antique laying around with her kids around the house, and her husband still at work. She rushed back up to where she left the necklace, and put it on to ensure she knew exactly where it was. She then hurried to the car and drove off to pick up Whitney.
Natalie arrived at the school and Whitney jumped in the front passenger seat. "Hey, mom. School was boring as hell today. What's for dinner?"
Natalie shifted the car into gear and began driving home, while answering Whitney. "I figured we could just do take out tonight, I'm too tired to cook. I've been cleaning the attic all day." Whitney grumbled at this. "Ugh, fine. I'm so tired of take out... Did you at least find anything cool up in the attic?" Whitney asked.
"Well I did find this cool little necklace" said Natalie, holding it up with one hand and driving with the other. Thanks to the bumpy road, it began to swing back and forth, and Whitney became transfixed. "Wow, that's... cool...." Whitney trailed off as she became hypnotized by the necklace in her mother's hand.
Natalie stopped at a red light, and looked over at Whitney to say something, but noticed her unusual state. "Whitney, honey, are you okay?" Natalie asked. "Okay...." Whitney said quietly, almost a whisper. "Oh my god, the note wasn't a joke..." Natalie said as she heard a horn behind her. She was startled momentarily, but began driving just as the light turned yellow again, leaving the driver behind her to be stuck at the red.
"Whitney, will you do anything I say?"
"Yes, mother..."
"Interesting..." Natalie thought long and hard about what to do with the now entranced daughter of hers.
"Whitney, listen and obey. From now on, you will worship me. I do all the housework and everything else for this family and get nothing back. Today that changes. You will worship me as a goddess, and in fact, you will only refer to me as such! You will keep your current personality and intelligence, but I am the most important person in your life. Everything you do will be to please me, and if I say to do something, you will happily do it with no concern for what it is. Everything I want, you want me to have. Everything I demand, you will provide. I am perfect in your eyes, and you will help everyone else in our family see me as you do." Natalie finished her long rant of commands, and woke Whitney just as the car pulled into the driveway at home. Natalie spoke up again.
"Whitney, get my door and seatbelt. Then open the door to the house for me. Announce my arrival once we enter the house."
Whitney jumped to obey her mother, her goddess.
"Yes goddess!!" She said, and quickly did as her mother asked.
Whitney undid her mother's seatbelt, then rushed around the car to open the door for Natalie. Whitney was in such a rush, she forgot her bag in the car, but she didn't notice or care. Whitney ran to the front door, unlocked it, and pushed it open. She waited patiently, smiling, until Natalie walked through the doorway. Whitney then shut the door behind Natalie and yelled "our mother and goddess has arrived back into the house! Come greet her, everyone!" as Natalie took off her shoes.
At that moment, Eric lazily walked down the stairs. He then said "hey Whitney, hey mom. What's for dinner?" Whitney was visibly disturbed by this wanton lack of proper respect for a goddess such as their perfect mother. Natalie stopped Whitney and stepped forward, necklace in hand.
"Look at this, and see, Eric" she said as she swung the necklace in front of his eyes. "That's it, good boy. Whitney, go relax in your room until I call you." And with that, Whitney bowed and left. "Now, back to you, young man. From now on, I am the goddess of this household. I am perfect, and should be treated as such. I will do no chores, tasks, errands, or anything else. From now on, you all serve me. Anything I ask for is perfectly normal, and I WILL get what I ask for, because I deserve it. You will only refer to me as goddess, and you will help the other family members realize this if they haven't already."
Natalie woke Eric, and gave him his first command as he dropped to his knees in front of his amazing mother. "Eric, thanks to your disrespect earlier, YOU will make dinner for ME. You'll cook me a full meal of meat, veggies, and some sort of bread. You will cook it in only an apron, without any other clothes. Then you will give all the food to Whitney, who will serve it to me personally. You will then be my foot-rest while I eat."
"Yes Goddess! Right away, Goddess!" Eric said. He then rushed to fulfill his task.
Natalie called Whitney down to the kitchen and instructed her to work with Eric to serve her dinner. Whitney also rushed off to the kitchen, as Natalie sat on the couch. She watched tv for awhile, waiting for Rachel and Dan to return home. Which one returns home first?
