It had been another long day at work for you, driving home meant you had the rest of the night to yourself, and your Ninetails of course. You'd never had a Vulpix, you just one day heard a knock at your door and when you went to answer, there was a Ninetails sitting on your doorstep. You looked around but never did find the person who left it there.
As you walked into your house, you were greeted by your Ninetails, who tackled you right as you came in. To be honest, she'd only been here a week, and you didn't mind it one bit. She was quite affectionate and always did this as you came in. "Hey Ninetails," you said gently stroking her head as she nuzzled you happily. As you continued to pet your companion, you moved your hand down her back, stopping right above one of her legs and rubbing it back and forth. Ninetails began kicking one of her legs, like every dog does when you find that one sweet spot on their body, and let a satisfied, "Nine" as she lowered her head onto your right shoulder and began to make a strange purr-like noise as she continued to nuzzle you after lifting her head again.
After another minute or so, Ninetails stood up and let you stand up to do whatever. You just walked over to the couch in the living room and sat down, patting right next to you to get her up with you. She happily jumped up on the couch, instantly laying down on your legs and putting her head against your stomach. Even though she'd only been here a week, you two had an extremely close bond, you two were basically inseprable. As you continued to stroke her head, she lifted her head and looked you square in the face for the first time. As you looked into her eyes, you suddenly began to feel very sleepy, your eyes begin to flicker, and eventually they close and you fall asleep.
As you're asleep, you feel something tingling in your gut, then nothing.
