This choice: Zack needs a little push • Go Back...
Chapter #5
Zack needs a little push
by: Unknown
Zack backed away, clutching his still throbbing hand. "Y-you got the wrong g-" but by then, the old woman had seen through his intentions to flee. Her face seemed even more exasperated than before. "Very well, dear. You leave me no choice."
The old maid lunged out like a cougar, reeling in Zack's good hand, and effortlessly lifted him off his feet with one arm. Zack may have been terrified of her before, but he was outright flipping his lid at this point. No further emotion seemed to cross the woman's mind as with similar speed she tossed Zack right into the cabinet. The gorgeous maid's uniform seemed to reach out like a catcher's mitt as it stopped Zack cold in his tracks. What looked like a fairly small cabinet seemed to stretch out forever in all directions. Zack's last thought was to try and run away with all his might, but by then it was too late. The maid's uniform held a tighter and tighter grip on him as the cabinet's doors were slammed shut.
Zack's heart lept out his chest. All he could see was pure darkness while his body quivered with the feeling of a thousand snakes slithering all over his cold flesh. He tried to shut his eyes and count down from three. Maybe this was just a nightmare, and he had fallen asleep in the kitchen. This is what he would have liked to believe, but the slithering feeling was doing no favors. It felt warmer and warmer, the slithering getting faster and faster. For a brief moment it stopped. He tried taking deep breaths but his chest felt tight, as if something was coiled around it. Then his feet felt like little snakes were constricting them. The cabinet had woken up again, perhaps after a little yawn. Zack's mind and body couldn't take much more of this and he finally passed out.
When he woke up again he was surprised to be able to actually see. His eyes itched and burned but there was actual light. He tried to spin around on his heels to get a clear view of where he was but they wouldn't budge. Nothing would! Except for his head, it seemed. As if jostled by his awakening, Zack's body started to move on its own and towards a full mirror, as if toying with the poor boy's emotions. He knew all too soon that the boxom girl walking towards the mirror was him. His nose wriggled trying to rid itself the scent of a sweet perfume while a full set of lashes shyly peeked out underneath a row of bangs. His rosy pursed lips begged to be kissed. Somehow he had transformed into a very pretty little maid, but his body gave him little time to think about the hows or whys.
