Time slows as the doorknob to your room turns, as the one person that loved you for so long and maybe would've understood you entered. Your enhanced hearing goes deaf to the sound of a scream as she sees your snake body slipping under the bed of her son. You hear her tear off down the hall, as if a huge monster was after her and with your thermal you see her pick up the phone and immediately call the zoo and animal control. As you try and make your way to the window, in hopes of reaching a low hanging branch from a nearby tree, you watch as she takes your sisters and makes for the door. You finally reach the window as you get used to your new body and try and launch yourself to the branch.
You miss, and everything that just happened plays through your head as you fall...you got your wish...your family fears you...you can barely control this body...people are now after you...and worst of all you can't do anything to stop this. You finally, after what seems like forever, hit the ground knocking you out cold in the same instant.
