So far things had gone well, thought Cindy. She had been able to come in unnoticed through the atmosphere of this planet and had landed atop one of its oceans. Of course, it helped that Cindy had been genetically altered to fly unaided through the cosmos or any atmosphere, precluding the need for a star ship, or any other vehicle, for that matter, save her own body. It was also nice that Cindy could turn herself completely invisible to all known modes of perception.
Cindy sighed. She fondly remembered the ocean of her home planet, and she looked forward to exploring this new blue world that was so full of life. Cindy used her amazing vision to look out and find a suitably large city of the native population. She needed to find an apprentice... Someone who was smart enough to teach her all about this world and its customs, and who would be able to take full advantage of the power that Cindy had to provide.
