You knew Marie as the creepy little girl from the 'rough' part of town. Her family did not have a lot of money, in fact they were struggling. You had protected her from bullies here and there and she had taken a liking to you for it. "Good morning, Adam." Softly, she said. "I came here to explain what is happening to you."
"You did something to me?" Confused, you asked. "What? Why?"
Marie smiled slightly. "I know you have trouble getting a girlfriend; you told me yourself that you just don't understand them." Softly, she replied. "So I'm going to help you understand with a little curse, one that mom used to get dad to understand her and I years ago."
"A curse..." Gulping, you asked.
Marie nodded. "Don't worry, the curse won't kill you, just change you." Smiling, she said. "I really like you and I want you to stay, well you." She giggled, blushing slightly.
"What did you do to me?" Feeling weak, you demanded.
"It's not as bad as you think." Grinning, Marie said. "I have cursed you to live the life of a girl until you understand girls. This will help you find that girl of your dreams when you earn the right to be a boy again." She then laughed before winking at you. "Unless, of course, you find you like being a girl better."
"What about everyone else in town?" Wincing, you asked.
"Oh, they will not be aware of any changes." Smiling, Marie said. "To them, it would be as if you were always Ada; the shy little tomboy."
"When will I change?" Nervous, you asked,
Marie giggled before pointing at a full length mirror on your closet door. "You already have."
