Ash was definitely not in the woods. He was still outside, but the plants that towered over him resembled blades of grass.
Wait sec, blades of grass?
Rolling over on his stomach, Ash slowly tried to stand up. His head was splitting. Felt worst than any hangover he had ever had. After staggering to his feet Ash took a good look at his surroundings. They looked were blades of grass all right. Twenty-foot tall blades of grass but grass nonetheless. It was like a scene straight out of Honey I shrunk the Kids.
"Did I shrink? Nah, that’s impossible. There has to be a logical explanation for this. Maybe I bumped my head and I’m hallucinating, or maybe I'm still unconscious and I was dreaming all this."
It all felt too real to be a dream though.
Something jumped out from deeper in the jungle of grass. It was an Ant. Almost as big as Ash was with two foot long pinchers. Ash screamed in terror as it ran towards Him—and then right past him. An enormous cricket touched down just a few feet from where he was standing. It too leaped past Ash. Followed by a Spider, a centipede and a ground flea. They looked as though they were running away from something, but what the hell were they running away from?
He felt a tremor in the ground.
Then another, stronger than the first. Then another, and another becoming stronger and stronger each time. Ash soon began to hear a Thud and the sound of grass being crushed accompanying the tremor. They were giant Footsteps. Something big was coming. Ash tried to run but the tremors were becoming so intense that he was thrown to the ground. A shadow fell over him as something blocked out the sun. Ash looked up and saw--
