The shadow fell as dirt rained down on him In Ash's vision all he could see was the underside of Kit's paw/foot. It hovered for a brief moment, and then it was upon him.
It was over in seconds. Before he could even cry out a protest the foot/paw was upon him. Ash didn't feel a thing. Kit could've been cruel and had taken his time, but he wasn't a sadist. There was a registration of weight for a millisecond and it was over.
Kit felt wetness. Not much, there never was. He lifted his foot away and looked at his handwork. He frowned, the bug had bled red. Did it suck blood? Gross.
Covering the Bug with a bit of dirt with his foot and patting it down he sat back and continued with his lunch.
In his own world he was never heard from again. Another missing person added to a long list of persons who had vanished mysteriously without a trace in that town. As for Ash's earthly remains, what was left of it, it became part of the soil.
