Kit looked down at the "bug" at his feet. His last attempt to squash it flat had taken the wind out of it's sails. It's tank was empty, and Kit knew he had it this time, but he decided not to squash it after all. It had acted differently than the other bugs he'd stepped on. None of them had avoided his foot for as long as this one, that alone was enough to make him want to get a closer look.
Completely exhaused Ash accepted his fate. A shadow fell over him and he expected Kit's foot to slam down on top of him.
