Steven Interrupts!

Before Jenny could actually say anything, Steven interrupted with, “Whenever you’re tired, distracted, or need to calm down, start sucking your thumb, Pete!”

“Steven!” Jenny pouted. “I was going to get to pick.”

“Oh come on, Jenny. We’ll all get a chance. So what if Steven interrupted you?” Joe rolled his eyes at the brown-haired girl’s scowl.

“Why pick something so baby-ish, Steven?” Amy asked, pulling the conversation away from the brewing argument between her boyfriend and Jenny.

The black-haired boy grinned. “Because it’s funny.”

Susan smirked, leaning forward. “Why not take it to another level then?”

Steven frowned. “What exactly do you have in mind?”

“Well, if he’s going to be acting baby-ish, surely we could take it up a couple notches?”
