Jack decided it would be better if he left the building. He couldn't stay cooped up in there forever. He climbed over the counter and walked toward the front door. He walked out through the entrance to the station and to where the pumps were. Jack sighed as he looked back at the reason why he had come here in the first place. His car had blown a tire just outside of the gas station. He had pulled into the station and had been waiting for the mechanic to finish his work. That was when all the staff started turning into horrid monsters. It was by sheer luck that Jack had managed to survive.
"I guess Lady Luck is on my side in more ways than one." Jack said, chuckling to himself. He then looked at the wrecked or abandoned vehicles that had piled up on the highway or in the gas stations parking lot. He looked toward the city of Rustone in the distance.
