The level 2 zombie fell to the ground with a light thud as its two level 1 buddies lumbered towards Kenji as they groaned in anger. Both were laying on the sidewalk dead before they even knew what hit them. "That was only the second group I've come across since I left the van." Kenji said as he wiped the blood from the blade. "Most of them seem to haved moved on... probably because everyone here is already dead..." A cool breeze picked up as Kenji continued down the street desperately looking for any signs of life. Sadly, the only things he saw moving were the few level ones that still remained here, yet he kept moving in the hopes someone was still around to help him. He passed by a yard sale where a man was laying face down in a small plastic swimming pool that had been stained with his blood. One of his legs was missing and nowhere in sight... at least Kenji wouldn't have to worry about him coming back to attack him.
After making sure the other zombies were still a good distance away he took a few moments to sort through some of the boxes and tables in search of something he could use. Aside from old video tapes, CDs, and some half destroyed childrens toys all Kenji found was a small switchblade with the initals "D.F" on the side. "I think this is all I'll find..." He said as he turned to move on... only to stop dead in his tracks as a bullet impacted the house behind him, missing his head by only about a foot. "What the...?" Kenji gasped as feeling quickly returned to his feet. Another bullet struck the table as he began sprinting towards the next house, which had its front door torn off the hinges. "Shit! I'm not going to make it...!" He shouted as yet another bullet pierced the mailbox in front of him. Just as the gunman was about to take another shot Kenji made a quick dive for the inside of the house as more bullets began hitting the area around the doorframe. "Gotta find cover! Gotta hide!"
