Kenji had been to this place twice before, the first time being a special treat for being such a good boy during his familys long move to America. He remembered that a killer whale was one of the first things he saw after walking inside so he began following the signs towards that exibit in the hopes that he'd soon be out of here. The lights had been out since the first day, but a few people who had been through hung up small lights and glow in the dark objects to help lead people to the exits. The bright sunlight shining in through the bloodied water was the only other source of illumination and dyed many of the halls an eerie shade of blood red. Dank and smelly water splashed under Kenji's shoes as he began walking down a hallway with a busted window.
In the near darkness he could make out several pairs of glowing red dots flopping about. Most of the sea life contained here had long since died, but a few had become miniture zombies. They were completely harmless, but still unnerved Kenji. This place had been a happy memory from his childhood up until a few days ago, now it was filled with corpses both large and small and smelled strongly of decaying flesh. Kenji put a hand to his nose as he passed a large carcass that looked like half a manatee with its entrails strung out near the many shards of broken glass. He then turned down a new hallway and was overjoyed to see a faint trail of light pouring in from a couple windows overlooking the barricaded doors leading outside. He moved along quickly before a noise made him stop dead in his tracks.
Out of the corner of his eye he had caught something swim closer to him from the murky red tank surrounding this part of the hall. It was an undead killer whale. At first it looked unharmed, but when it passed by Kenji caught a glimpse of a deep gash running across the creatures back and tail. It had been attacked by something and was now undead itself. "Oh no, it spotted me!" Kenji shouted as he ran out of the way of the monsters violent charge. The sound of shattering glass echoed throughout the building and was quickly drowned out by the thundering rush of water that began flooding the large hall. Kenji fired two shots at the Beast in a panic as he began sprinting for the exit. The killer whale let out a mighty growl as it tried in vain to swim over to the young martal artist. Had Kenji been a second slower he may have ended up bitten in half or crushed, but the warm sunlight that washed over him as he began to take down the barricade over the doors told him he had made it... for now. After removing the last object blocking the door Kenji walked out into the large parking lot and continued on in his fight for survival...
