You decided to go with a snake, you wanted to find the scariest looking snake, but you didn't want a poisonous one. As much as it would benefit you, you didn't want to kill Sarina. Once you get your snake, you make sure to keep the receipt, so that you can get your money back when you're done with it.
You also stop by Radio Shack to get some mini cameras and some tripwire security lasers. Your plan was to set the camera up in Sarina's room so that you can see her reaction via a wireless link to your laptop. The tripwire was to catch Sarina should she decide to get you back again.
When you get home and explain all this to Richard, he seems against this for some reason. "[Your name]," he says, "I think that you might be taking this a little too far. If you go through with this, one of two things will happen: she'll either snitch to her parents, or do something totally embarrassing to you."
"Richard, need I remind you that it was Sarina that started all this? And I don't mean two days ago, I mean four years ago. You begin to give Richard a quick recap of you and Sarina's "history".
"When I first met Sarina when I was seven, I thought that she was nice, we didn't really talk to each other, and my parents only took me to the castle on occasion. But when my parents died and I moved in, I saw her true self. She always insulted me, unprovoked, every chance she got. She had no reason to hate me, but after she insulted my parents, I gave her one."
When you finished your rant, Richard gave a sigh. "Fine. I just hope that you're prepared for what you're about to get into." After he left you went into Sarina's room to set up the camera, but then you spot something on her nightstand: her diary. You decide to read it since it had no lock. Your parents always told you that you needed to read more often.
