You do manage to hold on, but a giant pink wall slides into your view beside you and suddenly you're stuck to it. You're dragged into the cat's mouth and lay there for a moment. The world tilts and you're falling, landing on your back on among tall blades of grass. You look up to see the big cat's eyes trained on you.
