Dialling back those too sensitive nerves. They were just too enticing, those feelings, the hormone rush was just too tempting.
Experimenting with having a more voluptuous body like her big sister. Well, the boobs did come with a bit more heft than she'd expected. The adjustment to balance her out so she didn't look top heavy was a success.
She looked every inch the party girl that Vanessa seemed. Or rather as Laura admired her reflection, Vanessa would be in her shade! It was an odd sense, the mirror was generally obscured with rejected clothes. But, now it felt like it finally had a purpose.
Laura adjusted her muscles, improving their tone. She took it all in, pleased she still had those outrageous curves, and now the strength too. She was svelte and toned. Firm, fit and full-figured. Kissing the phone screen, she was delighted at this outcome. Tossing it delightedly to bounce atop her be.

Insecurity still wracked her, as she wondered about the attention it'd bring, about the assumptions. She didn't want to be dismissed as an air-head.

She reached for the phone ready to undo all the changes. Eager to shed this too ... just too much body.
Laura surprised herself to find she froze as she reached for it. She wasn't a bimbo! It didn't matter how she looked, she could have it all, beauty and brains! If anyone dismissed her, that was their mistake.
She cringed internally, at her own assumptions. Did she... Was she sexist? She knew Vanessa, but did she really associate busty and dumb like some knuckle-dragging neaderthal!?
"No!" shaking her head in denial. She rejected the idea, even as it wormed away at her confidence. Pain speared through her temple, at the idea of reversing her changes so quickly after making them.... So quick to retreat to her timid comfort zone.
Straightening her shoulders, she nodded to her reflection. Resolute in accepting this new Laura as herself.

Swelling with pride, and wanting to finally banish those doubts, Laura tweaked her body once more. Just leaning into that party-girl life, she wasn't going to accept anyone else's limitations and preconceptions!

"I can do this..." She told her reflection, "This can be fun, and I don't have to keep all of this..."
Those doubts already returning to eat away at her confidence.  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
