Before Amber could apologise Miss Flan was upon her.
With her face already stuck Amber watched her fellow pupils through the thickness of slime as Miss Flan returned to the front of the class to continue the lesson.
For obvious reasons Amber was struggling to listen to what Miss Flan was teaching as she quickly sunk into Miss Flan's bulk and still struggling she floated closer to the mermaid.
Amber knew she should try and relax as all the other pupils could see her and it would be embarrassing to be known as a scared human. But then she realised that many of the eyes were focused on her breasts that were now clearly visible though her soaked shirt.
She was sure that Miss Flan was intending to let her go at the end of class. At least she certainly hoped so.
It was then that Amber noticed a fizzing sound in her ears.
Amber didn't know whether Miss Flan always made this noise or whether it was the sound of digestion. That was when Amber started to panic again.
