It was her first day working for the cluckin' chicken. So far the job wasn't bad as it was starting to get to know the people she was working with. First there was her manager, Bill House who seemed like a chill boss. He was a bit muscler being a little ragged with a scruffy beard sometimes. Only two other girls beside herself worked as well. There was Jenny who was a sweet middle aged woman being a bit bottom heavy with a sizeable pot belly. As for Tina she was a stuck up bimbo of a gossiper who was constantly on her phone all of the time.
Three guys also worked here. Gus was quite being the strong silent type as muscular for his age. Danny seemed like your typical blond skate boarder dude who seemed pretty laid back. Then there was Austin, kind of an asian nerd but sweet at times.
GRUMBLE...
"Dammit all..."
Erin could hardly hold back the urge any more as she quickly made an order.
"Your seriously eating here?"
"Whatever Tina, I'm starving."
"Fine, what will it be girl, I haven't got all day."
"I'll take a large fries, two double cheese burgers and a large chocolate milk shack."
"Is that all?"
GRUMBLE...
Erin blushed when her stomach rumbled. The other girl snickered.
"Man, I could hear it from a mile away."
"Shut up..."
"Whatever."
As soon as the order came out Erin ducked into the office to eat her lunch in private. Man the smells, even looking at her meal made herself salivate.
"I'm starving..."
Taking a bite Erin's eyes widened at the taste, she wanted more.
"Wait girl, maybe you need to slow down."
As her stomach rumbled on again she winced.
"What the hell is wrong with you today?
Simply taking another bite her worries quickly vanished away as the taste melted in her tongue. The seasonings, the juice running down her lip...
