Corrie had just finished another irritating phone call when a bulbous, fat, balding man in a striking grey suit came to her desk.
"Mr. Blowfish!"
"Don't call me that."
She hesitated the second time seeing his menacing gaze.
"You did this to me, why? I don't want everyone to see that I'm pregnant!"
"Well that's too bad isn't it? You shouldn't have mocked me from day one. Though seeing that your clearly stupid I'll have you call me by a new name. Call me Gabe."
This wasn't good, one false word and the poor woman new she would be in a world of trouble.
"Yes.... Gabe..."
"Good, that's much better. Now Corrie, it's no secret you've been sleeping around the office lately. That poor girl you met yesterday was only the start. There are some conditions of the curse you need to know."
"Conditions?! What?!"
"Yes see, if you touch a pregnant woman or a child you will either take in the others baby or take in the kid. Your pregnancy will double if your not too careful. Now should you say anything bad about a co-worker or yourself whatever you say will become a reality. That is the burden of your curse."
"Seriously? But wait, what can I do to change back?!"
"Nothing until I decide to remove it."
As he was about to walk away Corrie gasped.
"But Mr. Bl-"
His striking gaze stopped her in her own tracks.
"I mean Gabe, nevermind."
He smirked then to much of the poor woman's disdain of him.
"Excellent, now be a good secretary and stay out of my business. I'll be watching."
With that he left her there as she softly cried in despair.
