"If I'm a princess then there must be people who can sort out the house for us." you say, looking at the Queen.
The Queen nods. "Yes that can be arranged."
"See." you say. "And what's the worst that can happen about your job? They can fire you and give you a bad reference. What does that matter? You'll be living in a palace in another country."
"You're right." your mother says. "That's not the real reason."
"Then why don't you want to come?" you ask.
"They have some..." she pauses. "...strange traditions in Calonia. It's the reason your father left."
"She is referring to the fact that children wear diapers until they turn 18." the queen explains.
"What?" you ask, staring at her with your mouth open.
Janet just burst out laughing at the idea. "You wearing diapers! I've gotta see that."
"If you're coming you've gotta wear them too." you respond. "Doesn't she?" you ask Queen Charlotte.
"Well no." the queen admits. "It's not a law and we accept that other people have different traditions."
"So I don't have to wear them either." you conclude.
"No." she disappoints you. "As a member of the royal family you cannot be seen to be disregarding our traditions. Especially since you have lived your whole life so far outside of Calonia."
You look to your mother, hoping that she can get you out of this.
"That's why I didn't want to come." your mother explains. "I didn't want to embarrass you by being the one to put you back in diapers."
