You don't quite pull of shabby chic, or the look of a sporty woman.
Nodding determinedly to yourself, you decide you need to embrace this opportunity. Concocting a story about lost luggage, and having to borrow your fiancé's clothes, you head into the boutique!
You snort in amusement. It's your first time in a shop you could reasonably describe as a boutique. An assistant hurries over, seeing your current clothes. As you tell her your faux-story of airline incompetence, and how long it's been since you were properly fitted for clothes. You confide to needing a boost, and a new outfit would help turn around your mood.

Janice seems to have an expert eye, as her guesses fit you quite well, and flatter your figure. The need for underwear, and having no experience with wearing it... is exciting, and you feel like you're risking being exposed. However, in the confines of the changing room the mirror confirms there's nothing unexpected to be revealed. You look exactly like the woman, you appear to be.
Tapping the payment, you get a thrill of retail therapy, and leave the store wearing your new purchases, with your former outfit hidden in their bags. Thanking Janice profusely for her help, and genuinely feeling better as you take in your new more flattering outfit.
You give Janice a generous tip, and just manage to restrain yourself from giving her a hug. Outside the woman in the glass looks much happier, and comfortable in her surroundings. You...She even dares to smile. indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
