You were forced into experiments to create a useable shell for the same power as the 3 acolytes the bringers of the Apocalypse through the Arch Demons revival. They succeeded in giving you the Power of Destruction but they underestimated its power and you escaped wearing a black coat you given while there ( https://epic-seven.fandom.com/wiki/Sez ) now Homunculus fragments of the Arch Demons power have started popping up no doubt made by those same people. If the Acolytes are brought back to life and given free rein no doubt they would revive the Arch Demon meaning the worlds ends.You couldn't let that happen now you kill the Homunculus while looking for they're HQ to do what you should've done back then.
