Katie stares down at the shrinking spell wondering what to do with. "I wonder if it even works at all? What if I am getting excited over nothing? But what if it actually does shrink things," thinks the teenage girl. Katie has to read the spell out loud and at the end, state the person's name who is to be affected by it. Katie loves all kinds of fantasy themes, but has always been curious about people changing size. She then imagines what it might be like if she were shrunk in her house. "Well, if it does make me small, the growth spell is on the next page," thinks Katie. Katie takes a deep breath and begins to read the spell. At the end, she pauses for a second before she says her name. "Katie," she says, completing the spell. Katie sits patiently on her bed waiting for something to happen. A few seconds later, Katie can feel her clothing begin to expand around her. Next,
