Karen stands in an isle at the local supermarket looking over products that guarantee weight loss. She grabs several boxes and looks them over until one catches her attention. It is a new pill that has just come out on the market. It says it will do the same things as the other pills but this box is more colorful and has fancy writing on it. Karen decides to give it a try and goes ahead and purchases the pill.
After shopping, Karen gets into her car and heads back to her house. It is a Thursday afternoon and Karen has already completed her work for the day. Her part time job is from eight in the morning to one in the afternoon, Monday through Friday. She works as a secretary at a local business office. Karen pulls her car into her driveway and is looking forward to her quiet time at home. Once she gets off work, she has a couple hours to herself before her kids get home from school. After putting up her groceries, Karen makes herself a sandwich and decides to start taking her new diet pills. After swallowing her pill down, she looks over the possible side effects listed on the box. Most seem pretty common until she comes across the line "could cause a temporary loss in height".
