Jun goes to the team dinner, and is shocked at the set up table when he arrives.
"Each of you better finish your 3 bowls of pasta, no money is going to waste here," Greg instructed to all the swimmers.
Greg pointed Jun to his seat and told him to dig in. Jun comfortably ate the first bowl as it was the normal portion a person would eat, but the second and third bowls were difficult to stomach. He could feel his own stomach not being able to hold anymore, slightly bulging from such a food bloat. Greg came by and told him to drink some Mountain Dew to help burp up any air that was wasting space in his stomach that more food could be held in. Jun wasn't sure what Mountain Dew was but thought it seemed unhealthy. Greg lied to him saying it was an energy drink for champions and a perfect healthy option for any diet.
Jun chugged down the Mountain Dew and started on his second bowl. His belly hadn't gone away though, if anything got bigger.
"Dude my belly is looking huge right now," Jun said to Greg very concerned on his body image.
"Don't worry about it, it's a harmless bloat that will go away tomorrow morning. Plus, morning practice will burn any real damage off..." Greg reassured Jun.
After his third bowl and a few more Mountain Dews, breadsticks were handed out as parting gifts and Jun walked home. He couldn't help but stroke his newly bloated belly the walk home. He kept thinking of what Greg said though and felt better that his abs would be back to the chiseled way they were tomorrow morning...
Does Jun sleep through morning practice? Or does he go with a newfound belly starting to form?
