Thinking for a moment, Sarah decided that she wanted to meet up with someone in order to test the remote out. If she confirmed that the remote really did work as advertised, then there was no way she would be able to keep it entirely to herself for long. With that in mind, it was just a question of who she would meet up with.
"Let's see here," Sarah said to herself as she pulled up her contact list on her phone.
The first name that jumped out was her boyfriend. Sarah liked Ryan a lot and she knew he would be someone she could trust with the remote, assuming it worked at all. If he really was trying to prank her, surely he would want her to meet up with him so he could see her reaction. But if he wasn't... Well it would be interesting to swap with him and she wasn't above using the remote to mess with him a bit before showing it to him.
Then there was her best friend Shannon. Sarah had known her about as long as Ryan, basically since the Townsend family moved to town just over two years ago. Just as with her boyfriend, Sarah knew she could trust Shannon. She also the two of them would have a lot of fun with this remote.
Ryan and Shannon weren't the only options, though. Looking at the names listed on the screen, she spotted her friends Lisa and Grace as well. Either one of them would be a good choice. Each of them would be fun to share the remote with.
Thinking it all over, Sarah could think of a good reason to choose each of the four options, but for now she thought it was best to only pick one. After a bit of deliberation, Sarah finally came to a decision. With her mind made up, she sent a text to...
