Thinking about it, Jake decided visiting a friend's house would be the best idea. It would not only allow him some targets he knew in case things went wrong, but if the remote did work, he could show them the device and they could all have some fun. Or not tell them and just laugh at their obliviousness.
If the remote worked of course.
"Ryan would be the best choice." Jake muttered.
Ryan was Jake's best friend and they had known each other since forever. They had near identical interests and hung out all the time. Plus he has a really hot sister, though she was a huge bitch. Then there was his girlfriend. If Jake swapped lives with Ryan, he could have her.
"No, what am I thinking?!" Jake shook his head. "Ryan's my best friend. That would be a shit thing to do."
The remote felt warm in his hand, like it was encouraging him to use it.
"Maybe I should visit Alex?"
Alex was a nerdy kid who Jake and Ryan were friends with. A little too nerdy in some ways for Jake, but he had a huge game collection and they spent hours playing all the new releases there. He was fine in small doses at least. The guy also had two sisters, that while they were a few years younger than them, could be funny to swap.
There were a few other friends Jake knew nearby he could visit. But he should decide quickly. The hand holding the remote was warm and sweaty, anxious for some fun.
