"Hey, man," Jake said upon seeing Ryan come down the stairs.
"Hey, dude," Ryan replied, surprised to see his best friend standing their. "What are you doing here?"
"You forgot we were hanging out today?" Jake asked, laughing.
"Yeah ..." Ryan said, trailing off. "I got distracted by something. C'mon upstairs and I'll tell you about it."
Intrigued, Jake followed Ryan upstairs to his room. "What did you want to tell me about?" Jake asked when they got there.
"So, dude, I got this weird package this morning," Ryan explained. "And when I opened it, I found this." He held up the remote that was still in his hand.
"What is that thing?" Jake asked, eyeing the device in his friend's hand.
"Well, it claims to be able to swap people's bodies."
"Did you try it out yet?"
"No, not yet," Ryan said. "I was literally just headed downstairs to do that when you showed up."
Jake laughed. "I see," he said. "Well, how about we try it out now? That thing looks pretty damn real so I doubt someone would go through all the trouble to make this thing just to give it away as some kind of prank."
"That's what I was thinking. But who should we test it on first?"
