Ryan decided that if he was going to show the remote to anyone, it should be his friend Alex. Alex was really smart so maybe he would be able to figure out if this remote was the real deal or not. He pulled out his phone and called Alex.
"Hey, whats up?" Alex asked upon picking up the phone.
"Dude," said Ryan. "I've got this really weird thing to show you. I figured you were probably the best person to show it to."
"Cool, what is it?"
"It's hard to explain. It would be easier to show you. Are you doing anything now?"
"No, not really. If you want to come over now that's fine."
"Okay, man. See you soon."
After the phone call, Ryan went into the garage at got his bike out. He then began the ride over to Alex's house. When he arrived, he leaned his bike on the side of the house and then rang the doorbell. A few seconds later, Ryan heard footsteps behind the door. It opened to reveal Alex who was still wearing his pajama pants, which had the Halo 3 logo all over them.
"Wow," said Ryan. "You weren't kidding when you said you weren't doing anything."
"Yeah, I just got up," Alex said. "So what did you want to show me?"
"Let's go up to your room first," Ryan suggested, stepping into the house.
"Sure," said Alex, closing the door behind his friend. Ryan kicked his shoes off and the two friends headed up to Alex's room.
"So I got this weird package this morning," Ryan began to explain. "And when I opened it, I found this." He pulled out the remote and handed it to Alex.
"What is it?" Alex asked.
"Well, it claims to be able to swap people's bodies but that's just not possible."
"Did you try it out?'
"No."
"Well, why not? This thing looks very realistic so I doubt someone would go through so much trouble for a prank."
"No one was around at my house, so I decided to come over here."
"I see. How about we test this thing out here? Both my sisters are here so we have some guinea pigs."
"You really are an evil genius," Ryan joked.
"I try," said Alex with a laugh. "So who do you want to test this thing on?"
