"PHILLIP! Turn down your music! I am trying to rest!"
Phillip laid on his bed and sighed. His fat pregnant mum Karen was after him again. Can't she just go off somewhere else, he thought, trying to ignore the noise she was making outside his bedroom door. Karen kept shouting and slamming her fists against his bedroom door, trying to get his attention. He sighed again, realising he wasn't going to win this argument, and got up off his bed.
At 15 years old, Phillip had hit his teen years full of rebellion and rage against his parents and elder peers. He dyed his hair black, against his mother's wishes and grew a fringe over one of his left eye like an emo teen would do. He was stick thin, barely any fat on his body, and mainly wore black t-shirts with some band on it and black jeans. He walked over to his radio and turned it down. "Happy with that you fat bitch?" he shouted back at his mum through the door.
Karen sighed and rolled her eyes. Phillip had become impossible for her to control on her own, especially since she became pregnant. At 35 years old, she was a highly respectable architect in her field. Phillip was born while she was still studying her architecture university course, however she and Phillip's dad, Bob, worked hard together raising Phillip while she finished her course and started her working career and Bob juggled building jobs, either as a bricklayer or carpenter. Now at 35 years old, she felt she was ready for another child, and was hoping that Phillip would calm down with a new brother or sister in the house.
She slowly walked back to her bedroom, her 7 months pregnant belly slowly started making things a little uncomfortable for her, especially with the constant tiredness she had from dealing with the pregnancy and Phillip, and her sore ankles and back from the weight of her belly. She could not remember it being so bad when she was pregnant with Phillip, but also remembered she was a lot younger and fitter. She laid back down on the bed, rubbing her swollen belly under her camisole, wondering how Bob and she were going to deal with both the new born and Phillip. She started to cry, quietly, wondering where things had gone wrong with Phillip and her.
