As the imp-moth sat on the window sill, admiring the wonderful scene within, his compound eyes caught sight of a spider, stealthily creeping its way towards him...
This was a major concern for the little imp. He was vulnerable in this Plane, weak and frail by demon standards, and in the form of a moth all the more so! The spider would not be able to kill him, but was capable of inflicting a great deal of pain due to the imp's diabolic nervous system, which was capable of reaching heights of pain and pleasure incomprehensible to humans.
Despite being more than capable of defeating the arachnid, the abilities of imps require great concentration, and a surprise attack would render him flustered and helpless for a few painful moments. During this time, the spiders fangs would be the equivalent of poisoned daggers in his current scale, stabbing and tearing at his feeble insect body. It is a well known fact in the Circles of Hell that pain is something all imps avoid at any cost, hence they can normally be bullied into servile positions in demonic society.
