A cool wind blew through an isolated, star blanketed pumpkin patch. It was October 31st, Halloween night, and, amidst the vines sat a single, solitary figure, Jimmy Smith, dressed as a pirate. There he sat, for hours on end, keeping a strange, silent vigil, hoping against hope that this year would be HIS year. His silence went undisturbed for some time, until finally breaking under the sound of approaching footsteps.
Jimmy's eyes lit up and a smile flared across his face. Could this be it? Was this the year!? Jimmy stood and spun around in an instant, only to be disappointed by the sight of his older sister Christina, dressed in a sexy Catholic Schoolgirl outfit. "Oh... it's just you." Jimmy said dejectedly before sinking back down to the ground.
"Well, of course it's me, who else would it be?" Christina said, bewildered. "What are you doing out here anyway, aren't you going to go Trick or Treating?" Jimmy didn't even bother to turn back around. "Nah, that’s okay, you go on ahead. I've got... things to do..."
Getting suspicious, Christina decided to press the issue. "What on Earth could you possibly have to do out in the middle of a pumpkin patch on Halloween night?" Jimmy was silent. "Come on, tell me!" Christina cried out. "If you don't, I'll go get mom, and we'll see what she thinks about all of this."
Sighing, Jimmy realized that he had no other choice but to come clean. "I know you’re gonna laugh but... I'm waiting for the Great Pumpkin."
There was a slight pause, as if Christina couldn't believe what she had heard. Then, she burst out laughing. "See! I knew you'd think it was stupid!" Jimmy cried. Between laughs, Christina managed to blurt out "Well of course it's stupid! The Great Pumpkin? Come on!"
"He'll come, you'll see!" Jimmy replied, angrily. "And when he comes, he's going to reward me with presents and Halloween cheer, and you’re not going to get anything!"
"Okay, okay, whatever..." Christina began, collecting herself and wiping the tears from her eyes. "I'll tell you what I will have though... a bag full of candy. See you around little bro!" With that, she turned to exit the pumpkin patch, but ceased her progress when the ground beneath her began to shake. "Do you feel..." She said, turning slightly to look back at her brother, but it was too late. The shaking turned to quaking and soon neither of the Smith Children could stand on their own two feet.
As the Earth rattled beneath them, they watched in awe as the vines parted, and out of the dirt arose a giant green stem, thick as a tree trunk, followed by a round, segmented orange shell, wider by far than their father's pickup truck. As the orange shell continued to rise, two carved out triangles, blazing with light revealed themselves, succeeded by a wide, gaping, furnace-like mouth, until finally a giant Jack-o-Lantern stood before the Smith Siblings, grinning jovially. Giant arms and legs of woven vine sprouted from the ground in quick succession, and soon, the strange creature hoisted itself up upon them, standing 25 feet tall.
"It's... it's the Great Pumpkin!" Jimmy said, smiling from ear to ear, childlike wonder written across his face. If she were a little less scared, Christina might have screamed, but as it was, she remained completely paralyzed by fear. Looking down at the two mortal creatures at his feet, the Great Pumpkin grinned and spread his arms wide "HAPPY HALLOWEEN!" he bellowed, the sound of his grand voice vibrating through the Smith Siblings, causing Jimmy to fidget giddily with glee, and Christina to tremble in terror.
"This is the first time I have been awakened in oh, I don't even know how long!" The Great Pumpkin said, stretching his leafy arms experimentally. "Arise, my children! Your long sleep is finally over!" This time, it was both Smith kids who reacted in shock, as the sound of movement and crunching spread throughout the Pumpkin patch. Pumpkins all around them were wiggling and shaking, and as the Smiths watched in amazement, they sprouted eyes and pointed teeth and began to chatter away to one another like old relatives at a long overdue family reunion.
The Great Pumpkin was so pleased with himself that he almost forgot about the two young humans beneath his feet. Soon, however, he remembered. "Oh, I'm sorry kids!" He said, apologetically "I almost forgot all about you! Thank you both for awakening me! It was your pure faith that made all of this possible!"
"No problem!" Jimmy said, rising to his feet. "I always knew you were real, I always knew!" Christina rose after him, taking him by the hand. "Let's go Jimmy, let’s go right now..." "No way!" Jimmy replied, pulling his hand away from his big sister. "I've waited all my life for this! I finally get to meet the Great Pumpkin, and now he's going to give us both Halloween presents!"
"That’s right!" The Great Pumpkin bellowed. "You've both been very good, and this is the most sincere Pumpkin patch I've seen in years and years! Hmmm... but what should I give you?"
As the Great Pumpkin pondered this question, the Pumpkin's beneath the Smith kid's feet began to Jibber and laugh until one of them, shouted out "Hey, boss, how about a pair of panties for the girl! I can see clear to China from down here, she's goin bare beaver!" Christina blushed furiously and tugged at the edges of her skirt, but it did little good. The Pumpkins all had a worms eye view, giving them a perfect upskirt vantage point. Expecting to rendezvous with her boyfriend Teddy later tonight, Christina had hoped to surprise him by going commando, but that was a secret to be kept for him and him alone, and certainly not a field full of smart allecky pumpkins!
The Great Pumpkin laughed warmly. "Oh, don't pay any attention to them little girl! It's perfectly natural to be a little naughty on Halloween. Here, you get a pogo stick!" As if by magic, (scratch that, it actually was magic) the Great Pumpkin produced a pogo stick out of thin air, raising a roar of laughter from the Pumpkin gallery. Receiving the gift, Christina looked it up and down before muttering "Uhm... thanks."
"What do I get, what do I get!?" Jimmy repeated, jumping up and down with excitement. "Hmm..." The Great Pumpkin thought for a moment. Then, with a wave of his hand, he produced a chest of genuine gold doubloons. "There you are Jimmy, a real life treasure chest to go with your pirate costume!"
"Wow, cool!" Jimmy exclaimed before opening the box and digging through the gold with greedy fingers. Forgetting herself for a moment, Christina blurted out angrily "Hey! How come he gets gold and I get a freaking pogo stick!?"
With a hearty chuckle, the Great Pumpkin did his best to reassure her. "Oh, it's not so bad little girl! Try it out, you'll see how much fun it is!"
Looking down at the toy, Christina thought for a moment, shrugged and then decided to hop on. After a few moments of bouncing, she actually started to smile. "You know... this isn't half bad!" She said, giggling. The Pumpkins in the patch were giggling too, for every time Christina bounced, the back of her skirt flew up, giving them all an even better view of her naked ass.
"There must be like a million dollars in here!" Jimmy speculated. "I can't wait to show mom and dad!"
"Of course!" Shouted the Great Pumpkin. "Your mother and father! Take me to them! They deserve presents too for raising such wonderful children!"
