The light seems bright as you force your eyes open, only blurred shapes visible through the light pounding in your temples. You smack your lips and your mouth feels dry, a weird scent filling your nostrils. A course fabric is rubbing your cheek, stiff fibers pushing up against your face that are wet with the light moisture of drool, and as everything comes into sharper focus, you don't recognize the material or pattern. The more you blink, the clearer things become, the pain in your head subsiding, but the thirst remaining.
"What's going on?"
There's sunlight, an open window, and the bright yellow of day streaming in. The fresh breeze filtering the room is tinged with something else that seems familiar but you just can't place. But all of that is pushed to the back of your mind as you begin to look around.
Posters adorn the walls off in the distance, a lamp here, a piece of furniture there, but it all seems wrong. It all seems much too ... large! Before you can stand up on wobbly legs, there's a loud bang and a crash, the vibration of something giant landing nearby that almost shakes your arms out from beneath you. Eyes suddenly wide in alarm, you cast your gaze upward at a looming shadow and see...
