With his conscience weighing him down he decide to tell Hinata the truth. He finished cooing and calls her over. They start to eat the food. Halfway through the meal Naruto puts his food down to get Hinata’s attention.

Hinata there is something important I have to tell you,” he said to her

“What is it,” she asks.

“The truth is that this mission is not what you were lead to believe. The truth is that the council wants me to repopulate the Uzumaki clan by taking in girls and turn them into slave. Your father volunteered you to be first. I was supposed to but this drug into your food and bring you to an ANBU base nearby to start your ‘training’,” he tells her while holding the vile with the drug in his hands. “I just can’t do that to one of my friends so I decided to tell you.”
