There are tales within these lands of creatures large and small, terrible and innocent. Yet of all those tales none compare to the tales of the dragons of these mountainous hills which you call your home. Many of the tales were crafted around you and your presence as you would blot out the sky of the small human villages that lived within the shadows of these mountains.
Many of these villages consider you a threat and a danger due to your size and the fact that you require so much to keep your magnificent body in shape. However there are a few that see you as a blessing and that your presence is a sign from the gods that they are protected from what ever evils roam the lands.
Neither of them were wrong as true you have an previous years wiped out entire human villages in an attempt to stave of death from hunger. And you have as well driven out other dragons who wished to take your territory and other smaller creatures which posed a threat to your hunting grounds which some of the human villages happened to lie within (though you would never tell them that).
So regardless of any action you might do you always had "Visitors" who either wanted your head or some favor from you. Though it was neigh impossible to find you thanks to your hide blending in so well with the world around you while you hibernated. They somehow always managed to find you when you waked which was exactly what was about to happen today.
