This choice: Something happens that night??? • Go Back...Chapter #7Rain and Rained upon by: Unknown I pondered on the human for a while, thinking that I knew nothing of this world. He was asking so much on what Serapham were and talked little about himself. “He’s hiding something.” I thought. At the moment all I was able to do was think. I didn’t feel at all sleepy, exhausted yes, but not sleepy. I’ve come to realized that I didn’t get to much sun either, ever scents I crashed on land I’ve been mostly covered by something, so the sun was doing vary little for me. “Damn.” I sighed. “I can last till mourning.” I thought as I wondered how I lived through all the crap I had to deal with for the past few days. It was just one thing after another. But enough on that, it be another story I’ll tell some other time. I looked around me, happy to find that most of where I laid was open, barely a tree in sight. Just the forest behind me. It was night when I decided to get further away from it, however I found it even harder to get up. Wondering why didn’t stop me and I walked a little ways, mainly just to get away from the trees. When I felt far enough, I laid back down. An hour of me just staring off into space past by in a blink but I finally fell asleep.
I awoke to find myself soaked. Water was coming from the sky. It was puzzling to me at first but I soon spotted clouds overhead. I do in fact know that clouds have water within them. I flew through a few in my lifetime. Anyway. It was refreshing to feel something from home but it was lasting longer then I wanted. After twenty minutes of being drenched, it took its toll on me. Too much of a good thing. “Your mocking me, aren’t you?” I said in frustration. A moment of silence past by… I Roared! It was the loudest I have ever been in my life. I then proceeded to claw the ground beneath me, vigorously. Over and over again, in till I wiped myself out. I moved a little to the left then collapsed half way in the pond I made. I passed out after a moment.
I woke back up when the sun’s light peeked through the mountaintops. The clouds and the water were gone say for that newly constructed pond and found that Isaac wasn’t back yet.
…
Once Isaac left Nodalisk he found himself walking a great distance. For some reason, he started running as if his life depended on it. Running like that with no signs of stopping. It took him a mere hour to get to Bellwood. At the front gates, wheezing to catch his breath, sweat stunk the air around him and his legs in pain from over use. One of the two guards placed at the gates came up to Isaac and said the typically cliché thing any guard would say. “Halt, who goes there?” Isaac rolled his eyes before looking at the guard coming up to him. Still breathing hard he said. “I’m… Edward… Ingrid I Must see… I must see… The lord of… Of Bellwood… Straight away.” The guard just looked as Isaac with disgust and said the other typically cliché thing a guard would say. “State your business.” Before he gave his answer he took a breath and started to breathe normally. “I need to speak to the Lord directly, it’s urgent!” He yelled. The guard hit Isaac in the gut and he when down on his knees. “Learn your place nave!” The guard sighed and started back to his post. “THE DRAGON IS GOING TO KILL YOU ALL IF YOU DO NOT LET ME IN!!!” Isaac screamed.
Later in the Lords throne room. It was raining outside by now. Lord Theodore sitting on his throne, Isaac standing in front of him but across the way. “Quite frankly, I don’t believe you.” the Lord said bluntly.
“I understand my Lord, I do. However please trust me, I Beg you.” Isaac replied.
“I don’t believe you because you said all it wants is some gold. Gold, a human currency. An expensive human currency.” Theodore stated
“Look my Lord. I understand why you think I’m lying but please, I’m trying to save your people.” Isaac pleaded.
“No, Guards” he yelled. As they came in the room he then said. “Take him away.”
As soon as they grabbed Isaac to pull him out of the room and Isaac screaming, saying to not do this and that, everyone went pale. The reason was because everyone in the city of Bellwood heard the most gut ranching roar any of them have ever heard; Even Isaac almost pissed his trousers.
“Was that Nodalisk?!” Isaac thought.
“Was that the dragon?!” one of the guards yelled in Isaac’s ears.
Shaking a little Isaac said. “I believe so… You think your willing to help now?”
…
When the sun was half way up in the sky. That’s when I saw him, walking back, but with other humans behind him. There was something the humans were carrying. A crate of some sort. It took then four humans to hold it up. I saw Isaac say something that made the others stop. He then ran to me. “What’s going on?” I asked as I moved my head to the ground in front of him.
“Not so loud Nodalisk.” He said.
“Why?” I asked.
“Please. Look, I’ll tell you everything later but for now I’m Edward Ingrid and you want that crate… Please help me?”
I stared at him coldly. “Why?” I ask more forcefully.
“Please Master!” he yelled.
“I told you…” I started saying.
“I know you did, you wanted more, but that’s all they had, please take it and spare them!” He yelled. It was obvious that Issac wanted the other humans to hear him.
I was getting what he wanted me to do. So this was the type of person Isaac was. I looked at the other humans and decided to… indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
