Ash is shocked to see that Delia is holding a dress, one that he recognizes. It's an orange strapless dress with a pink belt & a gold belt-buckle, as well as a white wave-like pattern, pink flower-like pattern, and white frills on the skirt. Ash recognizes it as the same dress his Mom had worn in Alola, only this one looked smaller, as if it were meant for someone else. She's also holding a bag.
"M-M-Mom?..." Ash says, shocked. "Is... Is that?..."
"Don't worry, Ash." Delia says to her son. "I know that you want to be a girl."
"You know?!!" Ash exclaims, now nervous. "How long have you known?!"
"I've known for a while now." Delia answers. "I've been wanting to help you fulfil your wishes for a while now, but the chance never came, until now."
"Isn't that the dress you wore in Alola?" Ash asks his mother.
"Yes, but, not the exact same one." Delia answers. "This is a smaller one I bought recently. The reason why it's smaller is because I bought it for you."
"F-f-for me?" Says Ash, with tears of happiness filling his eyes, as he goes up to Delia and gives her a hug. "Thank you, Mom!"
"You're welcome, Ash." Delia says, returning the hug. "Would you like to try on the dress? I have other things prepared for you in the bag."
"I'd love to, Mom!" Ash answers.
"That's great, Ash!" Says Delia.
Ash undresses, as Delia takes a pair of panties out of the bag, which Ash then puts on. Following this, Delia helps him put on the dress, as she fastens it with the belt.
"How does it feel, 'Ashley?'" Asks Delia.
"I love it, Mom!" Ash, or Ashley, says in response. "Also, I like that name."
"I'm glad you like it." Delia says, as she takes something out of the bag.
What is it?
