falling down and touch down

As Ren and the building he was in continue to fall. He notice that the air is getting warmer and the musky smell that surround the city when he's still above is getting strong. Fearing that he will be crushed when the building he is in collapse as it reach the bottom. Ren run to the rooftop, when he gets to the top that is when he notice the wall of the hole that he fell in have a red tint on it; above the light that comes from the opening of this hole is slowly dimming as he continue to fall and there were this thumping sound that seem to be coming on it. Three minutes have passed and the building he were at is still falling but getting near to the chasms wall. Suddenly the building produce a loud bang as it collided to the wall of the chasm this made Ren to lose balance and get thrown off the the rooftop and smack at the red tinted wall. This give him knowledge that the red tinted wall have a gooey like substance that sticks him to the wall and slowly reducing the speed of his fall from this seem unending hole he were falling at.

Finally after seem to be hours of falling he reach the bottom of the blasted hole he were in safely by the gooey substance he were stuck in that greatly slowed and cushion his fall. He notice that some people too made it to the bottom; looking above he can't see the opening of this chasm that they'd fell. Pointing his sight straight ahead he saw was a long tunnel cave that few people start trekking.
