That morning after the close call with the car,Todd knew that he had to talk to someone about his problem. Since he was close to his older sister, Laura, Todd felt that she would be the best one to have a conversation. After all, she was a high school jock on her State championship softball team in her High School days. she was always stronger than Todd but Todd didn't care. He liked her and she looked after him whenever she could. Right now Laura was taking some classes at the community college in town.
But she had no classes that day but was trying to do some studying. Todd stood by her door and knocked twice. She turned and smiled ' Hello, Todd. How are you? I can use a short break.I have been studying for a hour now. Do you need to talk'
He nodded indicating YES. He said to her 'I-I-I think that something strange happened to me. It may be hard to explain.' Laura asked 'Do you want to tell me more'
Todd said " I think that I better show you instead. Let's go in our backyard and I can show you'
When both Laura and Todd went outside, Todd wondered what to say or do.
Suddenly Todd heard something in his mind, he heard her thinking I do not like Professor Snale in my Math class. He is mean. I am barely passing it now.'
