She changes herself

"Sorry, I forget sometimes you can't read it. You see, I'm a witch"

"Yeah right' you mutter, wondering what she is up to. While she is fairly cool, mom can be weird sometimes....

"I see you don't believe me. Guess I'll have to demonstate" mom chuckles. You turn around to give her an answer, but no sound comes out. Mom's normally blond hair, is brown. No way she could have colored it.

"Normally disbelieving children are fair game, but i don't want you to feel freaked out, Mat. Do you want to have, or at least try magic?" mom says, grinning

1. Sure, and mom changes you so you can use magic
