A Different Mother Dear?

She stood up straight, thrusting her large fake breasts outward. "Did you get enough to eat?" she asked.

The whole tone in the room had changed. "Huh?" asked Jason.

"I'm just worried about you." She reached over and playfully tousled his hair. "You're my growing boy, after all. Whoo, I could use some coffee." She tapped her high heels across the linoleum to the coffee maker.

Trying to figure out what was going on, Jason happened to look down at himself and see that his arms were suddenly free of their accustomed body hair, and the skin had a different hue.

He sprang from his chair and into the small bathroom off the hallway, which was the closest mirror. What he saw in that mirror was that he was now almost unrecognizable, with darker skin, darker hair, and brown eyes that were differently-shaped -- even his face had changed. He looked like he was at least half-Asian, and realized what had happened. He'd literally made it so that Asian woman was his mother.

At least she was acting like a mother, and not a horny schoolgirl, he thought. He needed to try to get more of a handle on his powers, he decided. He exited the bathroom, and on the hallway wall, saw...
