You sit there and stare at what you believe to be a hallucination. Standing about 20 feet from you is what you make out to be a Blaziken. It looks at you, half curious, half nervously, looking ready to dash away at any danger. You begin to wonder whether this being really saw you as any kind of a threat since it stood at over six feet tall, while you just barely came up 5 foot 6. You could tell it was a male based on its physique. It had broad shoulders, and was bulked up a bit, kinda like a bodybuilder. It seemed strange that it would be so cautious.
Why does it seem to be half scared of me? you begin to wander.
Blaziken then took a step forward, and you jump backward, almost trying to get inside the tree you're backed up against.
Blaziken sees your frightened movements, and instantly the nervousness and curiosity disappear from his eyes, replaced with concern. He moves much more confidently now, however he still moves slowly to try and keep you calm to the best of his ability. Then to your complete and utter shock, you heard him speak.
"Please, it's okay. I won't harm you. I only want to help" the towering beast said as he moved ever closer to you. He was bending down to your level, really giving it his all to not frighten you any further. He realized you didn't have any defense. He was now less than 2 feet from you, kneeling down, looking at you kinda worried.
You merely shiver in fear of what this creature might do to you, which seems to sadden the great beast. The Blaziken slowly reaches out to you, offering a clawed hand. Those claws were awfully sharp, but you managed to stay put. The expression on his face couldn't be lying... it truly looked sad, and almost dejected that you feared him so much.
You shakily reached out, and took the clawed hand in yours, causing a small smile to appear on Blaziken's face. You still didn't trust him completely, but you had a feeling that he really didn't mean any harm.
