Chapter #7

The Invulnerable Girl

    by: Dragonlord Author IconMail Icon
Behind the football field behind a small local school group of six seniors were gathered around a large man with a crooked busy selling them a large bag of meth as they negotiated the price.

“Come on!” the school’s football captain growled, “Give us the stuff!”

“Sorry boys, prices have gone up,” the dealer said flashing his smile, “Someone’s been cracking down on trade lately, it’s getting harder to buy the stuff to give to you boys. Now maybe if you help get some new customers I might be able to lower the price a bit, but otherwise the price stands.”

“How sickening,” someone laughed from above them.

Looking up the six boys and dealer saw a woman, maybe sixteen years old with moderate length auburn hair wearing blue jeans and a tank top looking down at them from the top of the bleachers snapping a picture with her camera phone. She chuckled from behind the clay fox mask she wore as she said with a smirk in her voice, “Evidence.”

“Quick you idiots get her before she runs away!” the dealer shouted.

They started to move only to be shocked as the girl leapt off the bleachers aiming to land on the face of one of the boys who easily side stepped the attack. The girl landed feet first on the concrete showing no signs that the twenty foot fall had affected her at all as she struck one of the stunned seniors in the throat before kicking him in the crotch and finishing with a blow to the back of the neck.

“Damn bitch!” one of the seniors shouted grabbing the girl’s hair and punching her hard in the back of the head.

The girl turned to face the senior with a small chuckle saying, “You’re next.”

She quickly twisted the boy’s arm enough to dislocate it before she broke it, the pain made the boy pass out. One of the seniors ran as the bone pierced flesh and blood flowed freely from his friend’s wound.

“Stupid kids,” the dealer snarled drawing a knife, “Just kill her!”

He slammed the knife down hard between the girl’s shoulder and neck, a blow that should have deflated a lung and cut and artery. The knife struck her and bounced off like it hit a rock, the girls eyes laughed at him as she broke his knee and smashed his head into walls. One of the boys kicked her knees out from her and grabbed both of her wrists before placing his foot on her back.

“I know some martial arts,” the senior chuckled, “Your trapped now; there is no escape from this hold. Chuck, fuck her up.”

“Gladly,” the football captain said cracking his knuckles.

“How foolish,” the girl chuckled seeming unconcerned that she was about to be attacked by one of the biggest people in the school.

“Fuck you,” Chuck growled slamming his elbow into the girl’s throat, kicking her gut, and kicking her chin like he would a football. Aside from cracking the mask, the girl didn’t respond to the attack.

“Is that it?” the girl asked laughter and a hint of madness in her eyes.

She stood up despite the senior pushing down on her; he twisted her arms in a way that should have dislodged both her shoulders, nothing. She did a neat backflip over the senior’s shoulders and choked him into unconsciousness with his own arms. Chuck had taken off running and was too far away to catch.

The masked girl sighed before asking, “Did you get that Liz?”

“I got it Mindy,” a young blonde, maybe fifteen at most said climbing out from behind the fence she’d been hiding behind, “Got some good pictures, I was worried that you might not win this one.”

“If they’d played smart and just grabbed me as a group I wouldn’t have, but they were all stupid people who think with their dicks,” the masked girl said picking up one of the boy’s phones and sending it the picture she’d taken earlier before sending it to the police with the name of the school and location as well as a recommendation they send an ambulance.

“We better get out of here,” Mindy said removing her mask, “Police will be here soon and they don’t like vigilantes.”
