Chapter #8new world as Jasmine by: ro34   Jack blinked away the grogginess from the surgical slumber as the bright lights of the recovery room flickered above him. Every nerve in his new body felt like it was buzzing with an unfamiliar energy, an unsettling mix of sensitivity and awareness. The procedure had shifted not only his physical appearance but also how he experienced the world.
“Welcome back, Agent Jack,” a voice greeted him, pulling him out of his fog. A tall woman in a crisp lab coat stood nearby, clipboard in hand. “You’ve undergone a significant transformation. How do you feel?”
Jack tried to speak but found his words caught in a throat that felt foreign. When he opened his mouth, a soft and melodic voice emerged instead, shaking him to his core. “I... I’m okay?” he said, though in truth, he felt anything but. Panic started to creep in; it was too surreal.
“Don’t worry, Jasmine,” the woman continued, her tone soothing. “You’ll need some time to adjust to your new body. The agency has prepared you well for this mission, and you have everything you need to succeed. Remember the training, and stay focused on your goal.”
The name "Jasmine" rang in his ears as if it were a bell tolling a warning—a reminder that he no longer was Jack but someone entirely new. Sitting up slowly, he looked down at his body, now a curvaceous figure clad in the hospital gown. He noticed the smoothness of his skin, the narrow waist, and the swell of his breasts. It was all undeniably feminine, and the sudden realization weighed heavily on him.
With a deep breath, Jack—now Jasmine—stood up, feeling the shift in her center of gravity. Walking across the room, however, was a delicate challenge. The heels of his new form seemed to click on the tiled floor, enforcing a sense of grace and fluidity he had never consciously considered before. The mirror awaited him on the far side of the room, and with each step, he began to mentally prepare himself for the vision that awaited.
When Jasmine finally caught sight of herself, the reflection practically took her breath away. It wasn’t just the hair—long and wavy, cascading down to her shoulders—or the bright green eyes that stared back, contents filled with uncertainty. It was everything: the high cheekbones, full lips painted a daring shade of crimson, and an overall aura of confidence that screamed seduction. She looked like an enchanting woman in her mid-twenties, captivating yet intimidating.
“Jasmine.” The name echoed in her mind again, but with it came the weight of her new mission. She was no longer a top agent; she had to embody this identity completely to infiltrate the dark underbelly of the syndicate.
“Are you ready to start your training?” the doctor asked, interrupting her thoughts. Jasmine nodded, steeling herself. “Okay, first, let’s work on your presence. You’ll be performing as one of the club's featured dancers, so understanding how to move will be paramount.”
