Kouga was out traveling on his own. He looked out, trying to see where he was, when he suddenly fell into a hot spring! Immediately, he resurfaced, spitting the water out of his mouth.
"Blech! Dammit!" Kouga growled, struggling in the water. Swimming wasn't exactly his strong suit. It must've been at least a good ten minutes before he got back out! "I should really watch where I'm going..." He grumbled, looking down at the spring. As he did, he saw more... And more... And more! There was a countless number of springs, each of them with a bamboo pole in them. "That's... strange..." He mumbled.
"Hello there!" A man popped out suddenly. Kouga jumped back, nearly falling into another spring. The man grabbed his hand, and pulled him back to his feet.
"Thanks..." He said, wiping his forehead. The last thing he wanted was to fall into another one of those nasty pools.
"Is no problem." The man replied. "I just want save you from falling in two cursed spring."
It took Kouga a moment to adapt to his accent, but he managed. "Right... What do you mean CURSED spring?" He asked, now apprehensive.
"These springs cursed. People fall in and drown. Spirits now haunt spring." He said. "You fall in, and you change forever. It look like you fall in..." The small man then pulled out a small booklet. "Hm. Stange."
"Wh-What!?" Kouga said, starting to worry now.
"I return." He said, running off to his little outpost, not far from here.
"Screw this, I'm outta here!" Kouga said once the man was gone. In a little twister, he spun off, getting out of there as soon as possible.
The man soon returned to that spot, with a more updated booklet. "Oh! You fall in..." He stopped and looked up. "... Where he go?" He said to himself.
Looking back at the booklet, he saw that...

Please assume that once they have fallen into a cursed spring, they are changed forever, and can only be changed for the worse, or in some cases, for the better.)
